Why is this software so reasonably priced? I thought this was an Instant Download!!! Where is it? I do not have Windows Vista or XP. Will Credit-Aid run on older versions of windows? Do you have a Canadian Version of Credit-Aid? Do you have an Affiliate Program? Sometimes I try to run Credit Doctor, it starts to run, and the closes very quickly. What is wrong? Where do I download product updates? I got a shipping confirmation email from Google Checkout. Where is my download? I bought a copy of Credit Doctor, but my computer crashed. How can I get a new copy? How do you handle product returns?
Q: I thought this was an "Instant Download"!!! Where is it? A: We do not offer instant downloads and we are not automated. We post this in our online store and many pages throughout our site. Customer Service is our #1 goal and we do process orders very quickly. However, we are "real people"...and orders sent in the middle of the night or during off-hours will not be processed until we can "manually" create your activation/download/instructions and email them to you. Order processing generally occurs within 30-60 minutes, but please allow up to 8 hours. NOTE: YOUR CREDIT CARD WILL NOT BE CHARGED UNTIL WE PROCESS AND SEND YOUR ORDER. **If you have received a notice that your order has "SHIPPED" and that you have been charged, this means that your Download instructions HAVE been sent. If your order has been sent and you do NOT see it in your INBOX, PLEASE check in your SPAM FOLDER. That is where they sometimes end up. If 8 hours have gone by and you don't see your download instructions in your Inbox or Spam Folder, please send us a friendly email and we will resend. Q: More than 24 hours has passed and my card has been charged, where are my download and activation instructions? NOTE: YOUR CREDIT CARD IS NOT CHARGED UNTIL THE MOMENT WE PROCESS AND SEND YOUR ORDER. If more than 24 hours has passed and you see that your credit card HAS been charged, that means that WE HAVE sent your order. If this has happened, please do not alarm and please do not send angry email. Here is an explaination: We send orders out quickly, however, you may have used Google's email masking/forwarding system (which most people do). Google's email masking system prevents us from seeing your REAL email address, therefore your email must get routed and forwarded through Google. Google offers this to protect you from spam, but it also may prevent you from getting your software order (if your email program doesn't like their bounceback system -- and this happens weekly!). If 24 hours have passed and you have not received your order, first look in your SPAM FOLDER or BULK EMAIL Folder for an email from sales@creditdoctorsoftware.com. If it's not in your Spam Folder or Bulk Email Folder, next please send us a friendly email at support@creditdoctorsoftware.com asking us to resend your order. Please let us know your full name, your order number and your "Real" email address, so we can send resend it to you directly. If you believe that this may have happened to you, please do not email us through the Google Checkout system -- or it will continue to hide your real email address and you will not see our responses (which is frustrating for both of us). *Please understand that happy customers are what we strive for, however if you do not provide us with your real email address, or if you do not have your email set up to receive most emails, problems will occur. If this is the case, a "friendly" email with the correct info will solve everything. Q: I am trying to download this program, but I keep getting a "Corrupt" error message. What is wrong? A "corrupt" or "NCIS" error you are getting means that you are not downloading the entire program. The install file is 13.2 Megabytes. It will not install unless you download the entire file. We test the links daily and they generally take 2 Minutes to download on standard DSL or Broadband, but occassionally your antivirus or internet settings on your computer may be preventing you from completing the download. If you are getting the "corrupt " error when trying to download and install the software, here are the steps to take to correct this problem:

We want to help you. Q: I have a desktop, a laptop, and several other computers in my office. Can I install this software on more than one computer? A: Credit-Aid software is sold with a single Computer license, very much like Windows or Office or many other popular programs. It may not be installed on more than one (1) computer. Q: When I start to install Credit-Aid software, I am getting a message window that says "Unknown Publisher." What does that mean and what should I do? A: We are not affiliated with Microsoft in any way, therefore we will always be an "Unknown Publisher." This is just part of WIndows security letting you know that our software has not been verified by Microsoft. When you seen "Unknown Pulisher" simply continue the install process. Q: I downloaded a "Credit Doctor" Demo from the internet. What happened to THAT program and what is Credit-Aid? A: Credit Doctor was our first credit repair software product. It was very popular and won many awards. Credit-Aid is our next generation, and it's Credit Doctor on steroids. We took all the feedback from customers, added extra features and made 4 new all-new versions. Because these new products are vastly superior, they have replaced Credit Doctor. Q: Why is this software so reasonably priced? A: We believe that software should be affordable. We also truly want to help people. Do I need a special license for this? If the dIspute letters come from your clients, are signed by your clients, and if you are not charging them for this service, then your clients are repairing their own credit. You would simply be helping them to repair their own credit by using our software to generate the letters, track their progress and keep them organized. Please consult with an attorney in your specific state to confirm this. As far as charging your clients for this service, we believe that if you go the extra mile for your clients, you will receive back more rewards (by way of closed loans, goodwill and word of mouth) than any small fee you might charge for printing and sending a few letters. Q: I have paid for Credit Doctor and received my Activation Code from you, but when I try to enter my activation code into the program, it just says DEMO DEMO and I can't enter in the code. A: If it says DEMO DEMO, that is NOT the Credit-Aid Full Version program. What you have is only the free Demo, and you must completely uninstall the demo prior to installing and running the full-version. Q: Sometimes I try to run Credit-Doctor, it starts to run, I see the doctor, and then it closes very quickly and won't run. I do this over and over and the same thing keeps happening. What is wrong? A: When Credit Doctor starts up, the first thing it does is check to see if it's already running. If it is, it will see itself and shut down. You can tell if Credit Doctor is already running because you will see the little handsome doctor down in the tray (by your clock). If this keeps happening and you can't figure out how to stop it, we recommend completely shutting down and restarting your computer. It's surprising how restarting a computer can fix most issues. Q: Where do I download Product Updates? A: Here on the Support page Q: I am trying to install by typing in the name and activation code you sent me, but I keep getting an error message that says "Invalid User String." What do I do? A:"Invalid User String" means you are entering an incorrect name and code. This usually occurs when trying to "retype" the name and code we sent. Please try to "copy and paste" the name and code (instead of retyping) and you should have success. FYI: To cut and paste: Use Control + C to COPY and Control + V (Or Right Mouse Click + Paste) to PASTE it into the Activation window. Q: I was sent a shipping confirmation email from Google Checkout. Where is my download? A:We do not charge your card or ask Google to notify you of shipping until the moment we process and send your order. If you ordered the download version and received a confirmation letter that your card was charged or that your order has shipped, that means that we also sent your software and it is waiting for you at the email address that you have provided. If you don't see it in your inbox, please look in your spam folder befor contacting us. 99% of the time that is where it is. Q: Why does Google send me shipping confirmation with my mailing address when I have only purchased a download? A: This is a quirk in the Google Checkout system -- they are not widely used for delivering download products. If you purchased a download, you will get a download. If you purchased a box/packaged shipped product, you will receive exactly that. Q: I bought a copy of Credit-Aid, but my computer crashed. How can I get a new copy? A: No problem! We will be happy to help you (up to one year from your original purchase), but to do this we must be able to find you in our system, so please send us an email with the name and email address (and order number if you have it) from your Credit Aid purchase. If you have used Google's email masking when placing your order, this could make it more difficult for us, but in most cases we can usually find your activation information even with just a name. We are unable to find your order in our system if more than one year has passed since your purchase. Q: How do you handle product returns? A: We believe in our products and we know you will love them, too. Our software support team is available to assist you and will generally reply to any concern within 24 hours. If, however, they are unable to resolve your technical issues we will offer a full refund, within 30 days of purchase.
